After assessing clients requirements, Standby Systems offered 2 x 40kVA MST units in parallel and 2 x 80kVA MST units in Parallel. To allow for N+1 redundancy. Each unit with 10 minutes standby time.
Product Introduced to the client
The product introduced to the client was 2 x 40kVA MST in
Parallel & 2 x 80kVA MST in parallel to allow for N+1 redundancy. So if one of the two units have a problem or fail the secondary paralleled unit would take over the full load without affecting the clients critical equipment.
Solution rolled out to client
The solution that was rolled out to the client was 2 x 40kVA MST in Parallel, each unit with 40 x 33A/H “10 year design life” VRLA batteries housed on steel stands. And isolated with a battery fuse isolators.
2 x 80kVA MST in parallel, each unit with 40 x 65A/H “10 year design life” VRLA batteries housed on steel stands and isolated with a battery fuse isolator.
