Rack mount UPS manual bypass solution for 19 inch IT cabinet loads manufactured by AROS Riello UPS systems and available locally from Standby systems

Italian emergency backup power manufacturer, Riello UPS systems S.R.L, offer a 19 inch rack mount manual bypass system called a Multipass. The Multipass is available in South Africa from Standby Systems, who have been distributing AROS RIELLO UPS units all over South Africa since 2003 and hold sole distribution rights for all RIELLO products outside Natal and Cape provinces.

The Multipass manual bypass, is available in a 16 amp 220 volt, 19 inch rack mount unit, intended for bypassing a rack mount UPS inside an IT cabinet or in a data center if the UPS fails or to allow for proper maintenance to be done, while keeping the critical IT load up and running.

This small and compact version includes standard backfeed protection and LED indication to notify the user if mains supply is present before the wrap around is engaged and the UPS unit isolated form the load.

Various output socket options are available to accommodate all types of rack mounted servers and rack mount loads including popular ones such as IEC sockets, British standard socket or even hard wire terminal boards.
