After assessing the clients requirements and establishing the accommodation for the required UPS systems in the building. Standby systems offered the client 2 x 100kVA & 1 x 250kVA “transformer-based” highly efficient UPS systems with 10 year design life batteries to supply 15 minutes of standby time. As well as a Netman 204 slot in SNMP adapter for each UPS to allow the client to monitor key aspects of the UPS systems installed to connect to the clients own network, as well as receive updates regarding to the UPS systems on the clients personal E-mail.
Products introduced to the client were 2 x 100kVA & 1 x 250kVA MHT “transformer-based units” with high efficiency, for even greater protection of the clients critical IT equipment.
Solution rolled out to the client were 2 x 100kVA MHT “transformer-based” UPS systems installed on the 17th floor, housed on custom manufactured plinths to allow for bottom entry AC cables under false floor. 42 x 100A/H “10 year design life” VRLA batteries per 100kVA UPS system housed on custom made steel stands and isolated with battery fuse isolators housed in steel cabinets.
1 x 250kVA MHT “transformer based” UPS system installed in the Basement of the building. Custom manufactured top entry cabinet to allow for AC cables to be installed from the top. 3 x strings of 40 x 100A/H “10 year design life” VRLA batteries housed on custom made steel stands. Each battery string individually isolated with battery fuse isolators housed in steel cabinets.
Installation is completed on-site and final load testing is still to commence.
