Standby Systems announces the launch of the Riello Next Energy UPS range extension from 600 kW up to 800 kW in parallelable single block transformerless modules

23 November 2021

The daily exponential demand for data centre processing, along with massive growth in digital technologies, means that for any data centre to be successful, it must have a scalable emergency backup power supply solution to carry it through power failures and bad power conditions, while being adaptable to daily changes in technologies and power demand.

The launch of the new 800 kW UPS module by RIELLO, 100% designed and made in Italy, has increased the power availability for this range from 4,8 MVA up to 6,4 MVA.

The Next Energy range is suitable for all type of applications from powering data centres, medical, transportation systems, telecoms, medium to heavy industry, insurance and finance, or for any other large business in backbone technology and infrastructure.

The entire Next Energy UPS range uses the latest technologies and components in an online double-conversion package without an inverter output transformer. This setup offers maximum efficiency with the highest reliability available in the emergency power market today while ensuring maximum load uptime.

This UPS has a very small and compact floor area requirement with full maintenance and access required from the front only, making it ideal for installation up against a wall or in back-to-back parallel redundant configurations.

The Next Energy UPS unit does not require a neutral to operate and is thus suitable for any application. Its inverter is rated at unity power factor and capable of operation in up to 40 degrees Celsius environments at full load. This unit offers the user efficiencies in online double-conversion mode of up to 97%, and up to 99% in smart-active or line-interactive mode, making it the best all round UPS package in its class.
