Riello UPS launches Sentinel Pro2, a new generation of compact, high-efficiency online UPS

High-performance power protection in a reduced footprint

Riello UPS has announced the launch of Sentinel Pro2 (SP2), a new generation of compact online uninterruptible power supplies engineered to deliver high performance, reliability, and energy efficiency within a significantly reduced physical footprint, now available in power ratings from 700 VA up to 3 kVA.

Sentinel Pro2 has been developed to protect IT systems, data networks, medical equipment, and sensitive industrial applications where space efficiency and power quality are critical. The range is based on online double-conversion technology, ensuring continuous power availability and stable, high-quality output under all mains conditions.

A fully redesigned internal layout, combined with optimized airflow and ventilation, enables Sentinel Pro2 to achieve efficiency levels of up to 93.7%. The system operates with a power factor of 1, allowing full utilization of available real power while contributing to lower overall energy consumption.

The Sentinel Pro2 range is available in power ratings from 700 W to 3000 W. All models are equipped with Energy Share sockets to support intelligent load management, along with a front-mounted LED display that provides immediate and clear system status indication. Low operating noise and compact dimensions make the range suitable for installations where space and environmental constraints apply.

Commenting on the product development, Riello UPS Product Manager Stefano Squarcini noted that modern IT environments increasingly require compact solutions without compromising performance or reliability. The Sentinel Pro2 redesign reflects this requirement, with a strong focus on efficiency and dependable operation within a limited footprint.
